Informed consent required for NY patients. If prolonged, aPTT will reflex to Immediate aPTT Mixing Studies. If the dRVVT screen is normal, the confirmation and ratio will not be performed.

Three tubes, 2 mL each, citrated plasma, 5 mL whole blood, and 1 mL serum

Ship plasma and serum frozen on dry ice. Ship whole blood ambient; avoid extreme temperatures.
